22 Visually Inspiring Guitars
Hey everyone, this is sort of a special kind of post for me. Inspiration is as vital as breathing if you want to still be in the design game and so I see a lot of these kind of posts every day. Most of the time they picture designs, obviously, but sometimes you’ll see an inspirational post that draws from fields outside of design. One thing I never saw was inspiration from guitars and this is what this post is all about.
I’m a huge fan of guitars and a lot of manufacturers put out models that boast amazing art or are so well proportioned and elegantly designed that you can’t help but get creative ideas from these amazing objects. To me they’re especially an inspiration because not only are they well designed but their meaning and purpose is one of creativity and self expression. Enjoy!

It’s amazing to see so much art can be squeezed onto the small body, the slender neck and the little headstock of a guitar. These guitars just scream style even before you pick ‘em up. Nice post. Quite a new way to rediscover the guitar.

I had an attempt to reshape/repaint my Strat copy back in my first year of University but I gave up on it after I accidentally severed the electronics and cut waaay too much into the body. Ah, too be young and own a Flex Saw!
