This was very useful for me. I’m a ‘junior’ webdesigner. I’m only 16 years old and I try to become a webdesigner. It’s pretty hard because although i know some theory and I’m a pretty good designer nobody helps me out so I have to put it all together (HTML, CSS, Photoshop) and hope it all goes well, although I know I’m not doing it all by the book..because nobody taught me how to do it.
So thank you again, reading your posts really makes me realise what are my priorities in webdesigning and what I should do next.

I think the post states the obvious, but definitely a helpful reminder of how color should be applied to various design projects! I have came across so many print-designers that ignore the impact color makes to ANY design. If i come across anymore, instead of feeling mean and pointing it out myself, ill link them to this. Very well explained.

I didn’t provide any Pantone colors because the list was thought up with web designers in mind.
On the other hand, you could do an aproximation of the RGB values in Pantone

No pantone selection guides? In my case, most of my projects end up being printed as well so we select Pantones/RGB and all from the beginning.

Neah the “frenchies” actually helped. I used to just get pissed off whenever a client had some weirdo request. Now I kind of see it as a challenge: to actually do what the client wants but in such a way that it looks good. Harder than just plain being angry and doing a crappy job but much more rewarding in the end.
